About a generation ago, ‘doctors’ were considered to be ‘next to God,’ but lately people have different reviews about doctors. The most respected profession is now losing its grip and is exposed to violence and mobbing. What is it that leads to the trust deficit between the doctors and the patients? Do we need to trust the physicians and healthcare systems more? While some people only trust few and selected doctors, the others think that doctors are selfish and just care about making money. Lack of transparency is the biggest factor of trust deficit in healthcare. One of the doctors at Apollo Hospitals said that,

“Doctors are just practitioners of science, the expected outcome from that is, sick people get better. But what everyone must understand is that not all the treatments that we do, will have a successful outcome.”
