The population of our country has exploded drastically. From 760 million in 1985, we have reached to 1.3 billion in 2019. The healthcare centers have also grown in the country but not at the same proportion as the population. The 75% of the population in the rural areas has only 25% of the resources, whereas 25% of the population in the urban areas has access to 75% of the resources. The government and the law makers of India need to focus on the rising need of health care facilities in India and equally distribute the resources among the rural and urban areas for a developed nation.
