From being the first public school in the region on public lines to entering the new post of world-class school, Doaba Public School has completed 41 years in this field. Situated in Punjab, this school aims to be an institution that is shaping the future of the world and not just India. The school boasts of a student's strength of over 2700 and is affiliated to CBSE (New Delhi). This school focuses on the overall development providing equal opportunities to the children in various spheres. The institution is in a huge campus, spread over acres of land situated in the village Parowal.

“There was no public school in this region in 1977 and Doaba Public School was the first school on public lines. We try to give the best of world-class education to the students by being connected to their roots. This school started in 1977 by my father Lt. S Balwant Singh Sandhu. It has come across a long journey of 41 years with old traditions and has risen to the post of world-class school as we try to keep ourselves updated with latest pedagogies and the latest changes, a revolution which is coming in the field of education.” - Harpreet Kaur (Dean, Doaba Public School)
