Sweating can be embarrassing at times, especially when you are dressed well and trying to look good. Instead of enjoying the moment you end up hiding in a corner just because of the sweat patches. The sweat patches make people conscious and they often feel uncomfortable raising or shaking hands. According to Joshua Zeichner, director in the department of dermatology the sweat helps to maintain a proper core body temperature. He added that sweat evaporation helps in cooling down the body.

According to Dr.Zeichner, people who sweat in excessive amounts may have a condition known as hyperhidrosis. Hyperhidrosis can be marked by excessive sweating that can drip off your hands or soak through your clothes. Here are hacks for people who sweat a lot.

Use pantyliners

Pantyliners are also called as underarm pads. They are the same as the sanitary pads but the only difference is that they are small in size. They stick to the underarms of your garment with the absorbent material on the other side that soaks up the underarm sweat. Sweat patches can be prevented by this hack.

Try to opt for a dark outfit made from breathable fabric for important occasions

According to Dendy Engelman, a dermatologic surgeon, fabrics like cotton and linen allow better airflow as they are natural fabrics. These fabrics can help you dry faster rather than other synthetic options. He informed that these fabrics will leave less obvious sweat marks whereas fabrics like silk can show sweat more. Dr.Zeichner suggests sticking to darker colours like black and navy blue for your sweatiest times. This will avoid yellow stains on clothing and sweat stains during wear will be less noticeable.

Sweaty feet can be weird and uncomforting. Sweat can be frustrating at times. Dr.Engelman suggests a remedy using baking soda. He informs that mix baking soda and warm water to form a paste and rubbing the paste into the sweat stains until it’s as absorbed as possible. Let it sit for 30 minutes, and then wash as usual.
