Diwali is celebrated with a lot of fanfare in the country which is marked by some lovely and diverse culture and traditions. Out of them, Rangoli is a traditional art form which is drawn usually at the entrance of the house to celebrate positivity and happiness during the festivities. It is a colorful pattern which is etched on the floor using colours, flowers some coloured sand, rice or flour. The auspicious occasion of Lakshmi Poojan is also fast approaching which is also marked by some beautiful rangolis frawn in many households. Making a perfect rangoli is a work of great skill and talent.

Mix Flour With Colours

You can use some flour to create a rangoli. The trick is to combine the flour with some colours. One can make an eco-friendly using the flour without using the contaminated colouring which often harms the floor. The result will truly be a beautiful one. 

Coloured Rice May Do The Trick

Another idea is to use some coloured rice to create the rangoli. Like flour, using rice to create a rangoli will also be an eco-friendly technique. One can use a simple floral design. It will enhance the beauty of your home.

Water Colours To The Rescue

One must not fret on losing on to ideas for rangoli. The rangoli can be created by first applying a base colour. The base colours can be then be filled with some lovely intricate designs. The designs can be used to create along with water colours or some powdered colurs to keep the precision intact. 

Keep It Flowery

If not flour or rice, flower petals may surely do the trick. One can create a rangoli using flowers. It will also result to an eco-friendly Diwali. Try to use some colourful petals or flowers. You can also put a small diya or lamp in the middle of the rangoli to further enhance its beauty.
