The Rangoli is said to keep negative energies out of the homes which is why it is drawn on the floor by the front door. - To make a layered rangoli, you can use a base colour and then you can top it with another layer of intricate patterns using watercolours or powdered colours and you can fill those patters to make a layered rangoli design.
- Using flower petals will make your rangoli look beautiful and also colourful. Use different colours of flowers and also leaves for a green shade of colour. You can use a Diya in the middle and give it a different and a beautiful look.
