Chemicals are hazardous for all aquatic animals, they not only a threat to turtles but the environment on a larger scale. Chemicals used in households for pesticides etc are dumped into freshwater. This contaminated water can adversely affect turtles, tortoises, and other aquatic animals' lives. Additionally, usage of chemicals also leads to coral bleaching as well.
