Not only you need to make the food quickly so that it is in the tiffin and packed in your child's bag before school time but you also need to make the food healthy and nutritious. You also need to make the food diverse and interesting as children can easily get bored of monotonous food and refuse to eat it. Cheese and oregano sandwich/toast

Sandwiches are one of the easiest food items to make. The problem with sandwiches is that they can become very mundane if you eat them every day and are often lacklustre in taste. To make them more interesting and delicious, try adding cheese and some oregano. All ingredients can be easily bought from any grocery store. Liquid cheese or cheese slices, both work well for this recipe. Just spread the cheese or place the cheese slice on bread, then sprinkle oregano on top of the cheese. You can also add some slices of cucumber and salami after that. The cheese and oregano sandwich, without the vegetables or meat, can also be toasted if you have some extra time on your hands. This is one of the easiest and most delicious quick meals you can make for a tiffin.

Egg with rice

Egg and rice is another easy recipe, with a decent nutritious value. All you need is some eggs and rice. This is will add to the flavour of the food but the added oils and frying can depreciate the nutritious value of the food.

Mixed salad

Salads are some of the healthiest and easiest meals to make. You can add a large number of vegetables, fruits and meat products to the salad to make it enjoyable for your child. Mixing up the recipe by adding something new is easy and helps to keep the tiffin interesting. All the ingredients required for a salad are easily available in the supermarkets. You can also sprinkle grated cheese or add mayonnaise to season the dish and make it tastier.
