Even though Lassi is a popular cooling summer drink but it doesn't mean that you can only drink it during summers. It can be enjoyed at any season and especially after the current weather trends in Mumbai which is unpredictable (Mumbai observed rains in "November"). Lassi is a Punjabi drink usually made up of yoghurt, spices, sugar or salt depending on your taste buds. It is preferred in a salty mode during winters and monsoons as it is believed to help alleviate bloating and digestion issues. Here are a few of the best lassi places to visit in Mumbai.

Kailash Mandir Lassi And Sweets

The Kailash Mandir Lassi and sweets is located at Kasam Mitha Building, Dada Saheb Phalke Marg, Dadar. It is one of the oldest shops in the region and is known for the varieties of lassi that you can get in the shop. Their varieties include Maharaja Lassi, special Samrat lassi, half lassi and many more. The shop also includes some newer varieties of lassi and the place gets a lot of crowd due to its proximity to the Dadar central station and due to the prestige, it has gathered over the ages.

Lassi Te Parronthe

The shop is located at Cafe Coffee Day building, Khau Galli, Carter Road and is a Punjabi's treat. If you are somebody who enjoys North Indian cuisine and authentic parathas then this is a must-visit place for you. There are varieties of parathas to order from and an extra malai lassi to complete your meal.

Parsi Dairy Farm

This is an old restaurant which started ages back with only few items available in the shop. But nowadays one can find lassi, kulfis, curd etc that is made by the owners themselves.
