The reason behind the theme for this year
Reports of FAO suggests that obesity and other forms of malnutrition affect nearly one in three people. Projections indicate that the number will be one in two by 2025. Appealing to masses, it states that the good news is that affordable solutions exist to reduce all forms of malnutrition, but they require greater global commitment and action. Healthy diet is one of the biggest action plans to prevent obesity, as is stressed upon on the official website of the FAO of the UN. The quote for the year reads as 'Being is Everyone's Responsibility including Yours!'
