Objective

The events of these days ensure supply of food where required and also to promote global awareness. One of its primary goals includes taking action on those who suffer from hunger and maintaining it. One in every seven people is hungry. Around 800 million people around the world do not have access to healthy food to lead an active life or any food at all. World hunger statistics prove this devastating fact. The World Food Day and the parties in that operation are constantly making a change to prevent any more hunger.

Every year, the WFD is celebrated in various countries including India, and the United States. The goal is to ensure optimisation and maintain the health of the globe altogether. According to World Hunger Statistics, if women farmers had the same access to resources as men, the number of hungry people in the world could be reduced by up to 150 million. This is something that can be worked upon collectively. It is also possible to eradicate hunger by creating awareness among social media and partaking in campaigns.
