A cup of freshly brewed coffee is often considered to be a mood booster. While coffee has its own perks, it is also considered to help ward off laziness and stimulate the creative thought process. But a cup of coffee can do more than simply be an early-morning pick-me-up. A report published in an online portal revealed that people who have a cup of coffee every day are likely to be safe from many chronic diseases. A cup of coffee has an enormous amount of nutrients and antioxidants. Reportedly, coffee drinkers are less prone to diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and kidney disease. Here are a few health benefits of having a cup of coffee every day.

A. Protects you from cognitive decline 

A health portal speculates the positive effect of coffee on one's memory. The report revealed that having a cup of coffee protects one from diseases like Alzheimer's and different types of dementia. A research report published on an online portal revealed that drinking three to five glasses of coffee daily have led to a 65 per cent decrease in the risk of Alzheimer’s and dementia in later life. 

B. Healthy for your heart 

A research study uploaded on an online portal reveals that moderate coffee drinkers have a 20 per cent lower risk of heart-related disease. Some other studies also revealed that caffeine consumption also has a positive effect on cardiovascular health and overall functionality of the heart.

C. An exercise enhancer 

A recent study published on an online portal revealed having 500mg, or five cups of coffee a day, can increase the water levels in one's body. A hydrated body can endure an efficient workout and induce the body with all the energy required for a gruelling workout. Also, coffee helps battle fatigue, enabling you to excise longer. 

D. Protects you from diabetes 

Several research studies performed have revealed that coffee can protect you from the perils of Type 2 Diabetes. A research study performed at Harvard University, United States of America, showed the risk of Type 2 Diabetes decreases by 9%. Many research reports published on numerous medical websites revealed that decaf coffee decreased the risk by 6%.

E. Protection from liver diseases 

A cup of coffee can protect you from the adversities of liver diseases. Of course, consuming less alcohol will also do the same, but many research reports showed coffee's liver protecting benefits. Another research study showed that both coffee and decaffeinated coffee lowered liver enzyme levels.
