Having a bad day? Here are the ways to pep up your mood

Not every day goes the same, while some days you are cheerful and bright, there are times when you feel low and succumb in the valley of feelings. However, Neither the day nor the responsibilities stop to give you time to recover the shallow feelings.

 The two most important things you need to remember on your bad days are, 'nobody is in charge of your happiness other than you' and 'this too shall pass'.

 Here are 5 things that can help to lift up your mood, 

1. Music: Good songs soothes your soul and relaxes your strained nerves. Music is like a therapy that gives you some relief from the thoughts that are making you sad. Listen to some cheerful songs that can make you feel better.

2. Good Food: Good food is a must when you are in a bad mood. Go to a restaurant or cook your favorite dish will some effort and then have it will full pleasure. It will turn your 'sunny side up' for sure.

3. Make New Friend: Explore the world, meet new people, talk to them, know their story. You will find out there are people who are probably suffering more than you. From their perspective, you'll see your problems might look really silly. This will definitely make you feel better.

4. Watch a good movie: Good movies are very essential on bad days. Watch movies that you can relate to, feel good about, laugh at the jokes they crack, you'll feel better for sure if not the best. Avoid watching depressing movies as it might add some more Grey to your gloomy day.

5. Help someone in need: A good deed brings in the good feeling. Try to help the ones in need, and the smile in their face will definitely add value to your day. In fact, try smiling at strangers, you never know, the smile back you receive might brighten up your day.
