A newbie father from Wisconsin, US is setting some major parenting goals. Pictures of Maxamillian Neubauer breastfeeding his newly born daughter, using a fake nipple is going viral on social media for all the right reasons. Neubauer stepped up and volunteered to try the supplemental nursing method, using formula filled syringe taped to his chest after his wife April Neubauer encountered certain complications following an emergency C-section.
Due to the complications, April couldn’t breastfeed the baby immediately, prompting his husband to offer to clamp on the syringe device. Neubauer has nicknamed the device ‘moob’ (man boob). His decision was also prompted by the nurses’ advice that it is important to get the C-section babies feeding as soon as possible.
Sharing the picture of himself breastfeeding his daughter, Maxamillan wrote, “Due to complications during Aprils emergency c-section. This super rad nurse made a epically killer offer, and I was fortunate enough to slap on a suction cup fake nipple. Being the first to breast feed da baby!!!! “I did it for the moms” Eat your heart out!!”
As per several media reports, Maxamillan’s wife was facing difficulties after the C-section, due to her PCOD and that she had multiple seizures at the time of delivery, too.
Neubauer’s wife April has now recovered and taken over to breastfeeding. After her recovery, Maxamillian shared another adorable post thanking people, saying, "Well everyone is recovering great!!! Huge thanks to all the Door County Medical team! Great crew of people I can’t say it enough. @aprillynn416 your one hell of a warrior so proud of you! @heyimcybil your one amazing person & nurse.
