A movie which has a dog in its cast instantly catches the eye. These little stars ease the tension in the movie plot with their cuteness and lovable character. Hollywood and Bollywood have a plethora of books and films dedicated to dogs as the main character. So, can you recall the names of these dogs who conquered cinema and made it big? Moti: Super-dog Alert!

The Jackie Shroff starrer Teri Meharbaniya (1985) has a dog named Moti who avenges Ram's murder by going after the villains who commit the crime. Not only this, Moti is seen performing the last rites and also leading the police to evidence.

Tuffy: The Cupid

Tuffy is seen doing things we would have never imagined even in our wildest dreams. We see Tuffy fulfilling the role of an umpire, running down the stairs when his mistress falls, and most importantly, bringing two lovers together in 1994 super-hit movie Hum Apke Hain Koun.

Terry...well you may not know him by that name but you most definitely know the name, Toto. She starred in 16 different movies in her lifetime, but her most famous role will always be that of Toto in the Wizard of Oz (1939). She also appeared alongside Shirley Temple in Bright Eyes as the character named Rags.
