Bollywood in the last few years have welcomed several new faces, including the children of several superstars, who have joined the industry to carry forward the superstar legacy. These stars not only had a background of stardom, but also had the responsibility to maintain it.

However, there are few who go unnoticed and there are some, who have gone to become a celebrity and make their parents proud. 

Take a look at the superstar dads, who are proud of their children taking up the same profession.

1. Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor

Anil Kapoor is very proud of his daughter Sonam Kapoor. From her releases to her wedding, papa Kapoor seems to be super excited when it comes to daughter Sonam.

The 'Nayak' star took to took to Instagram on Monday to celebrate the success of Sonam's films and said, " The choices we make shape our lives. Sonam Kapoor you have made some pretty damn good ones when it comes to scripts, directors & content...Your hard work, commitment & conviction has resulted in 8 hits in a row! So happy & proud of you!"



2. Shakti Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor

The father of the Ek Villain star in many instances has shared how proud he is about his daughter. Although the actor is not very active on social media, he has voiced his feeling in many interviews.

3. Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor, who has always been proud of his son Ranbir and his work, recently voiced his feelings. This came after Ranbir's latest venture Sanju hit the theaters.

The '102 Not Out' star took to Twitter to write, "Cheers Ranbir! You don’t know how proud your parents are. Thank you and God Bless you. Aur bhi achcha kaam karo!( Do better)"


4. Shatrughan Sinha and Sonakshi Sinha

This father-daughter duo is as Dabangg as Sonakshi's debut film. The daughter on many occasions has shared how her father has inspired her to be a successful actress. As Sonakshi joined hands with the UNESCO, senior Sinha took to Instagram and revealed how proud he is of his daughter.
