Amitabh Bachchan's birthday celebrations on Koffee with Karan

The Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan will celebrate his 77^th birthday on October 11. This is why the famous celebrity talk show Koffee With Karan has decided to dedicate a week to the veteran actor. It was announced that Karan Johar's show will be presenting the throwback clips of the most famous celebrities in a specially dedicated edition titled as Time Machine.

Time Machine featuring the Bachchan Family

The special edition is going to be a compilation of all the family members from the Bachchan family who made an appearance on Koffee With Karan. The episodes will be aired on Star World from October 7 to October 11. The makers of the show have released a promo that gave glimpses of the trips made by the members from the Bachchan family. When Amitabh Bachchan appeared on the show, he was asked questions like naming the advantages of being Amitabh Bachchan and naming the one thing that keeps Amitabh Bachchan going.

Another peek from the show was about Jaya Bachchan being frustrated with the fact that people address Abhishek Bachchan as the son of Amitabh Bachchan. In that episode, veteran actor Hema Malini also appeared as a co-guest on the show with her daughter Esha Deol and was seen agreeing with Jaya Bachchan on her statement. The first time Abhishek Bachchan made an appearance on the show was after he got married to Aishwarya Rai. Karan asked if there has been any change in his relation with his co-actors, to which he said:

"Even before I was married, there was a comfort level with my co-stars. They knew I wasn't hitting on them and that's the way I genuinely treated them.”

Aishwarya supported her husband in this statement. She added,

"This I can vouch for because I have also been his co-star".

Shweta Bachchan, the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan also came on the show for one of the episodes with her brother Abhishek Bachchan. She mentioned the shift in the family roles after Aishwarya became a part of the family. Adding further she also mentioned that the 'only boss' of the family is their mother Jaya Bachchan.

Bachchan fans are eagerly waiting for these birthday special episodes.
