The Bangalore Palace

When it comes to historical places in Bengaluru, one can never forget the majestic Bangalore Palace. The Bangalore palace was built in the year 1884, and it has remained the pride of India ever since. The place is designed with exceptional windows, with one side of the hall designed with stained glass windows in Gothic style and woodcarvings, which makes it look so incredible. While going on a history walk in Bengaluru, travellers get to experience the beautiful gardens, exhibitions, and concerts. Entry fee to go and see this magnificent historical heritage it only costs INR 230 for Indians and INR 460 for foreign tourists. The visiting hours start at 10 am till 5 pm on all days.

Chola Temples

The Chola temples are of rich historical significance as the place is inspired by the Chola dynasty rulers who particularly shaped and formulated the city. The temples constitute many monuments and statues that win the heart of the viewer. Some of the temples are more than 1500 years old. It is a perfect place to experience ancient history. People on a historical tour of the city should not skip this one, because the architecture brings the old times back to life. To visit this place, one must have prior permission. Opening timings are 09:00 to 17:00 only on weekdays.

Tipu Sultan’s Palace in Bengaluru

This Palace holds great importance in India as it holds the wealthiest art forms of that time. This fort has balconies, pillars and beautiful carvings. The palace was built for Tipu Sultan for his summer retreat. The place was also named as 'Tashk-e-Jannat' by him. The best part about this historical wonder is that it has the representation of Islamic architecture and a temple of Lord Ganesha. The palace also consists of an art gallery which is a hub of hundreds of historical, artistic wonders. The Indian visitors only have to pay INR 15 and foreigners have to give INR 200. One can only visit this place from 8 am to 5:30 pm on all days.
