VIRAL: Turtle hatchling show foiled as seagull makes away with the turtle on live TV

Watchers of Blue Planet Live, a BBC documentary, were shocked to see a baby turtle that had just been released into the ocean at Heron Island get swooped and grabbed by a seagull!

Watchers of Blue Planet Live, a BBC documentary, were shocked to see a baby turtle that had just been released into the ocean at Heron Island get swooped down on and grabbed by a seagull.

As the host, Liz Bonnin, is seen crouched by the beach at Heron Island, situated near the Tropic of Capricorn in the southern Great Barrier Reef, she’s seen talking about the newly-hatched turtles who were stuck in their nest prior to her releasing of them in the ocean.

However, just as the six baby turtles are seen making their way into the water, a seagull is spotted behind the presenter grabbing one of them in its beak and flying off.

The terror of shock was followed on to Twitter as many people were seen tweeting about this viral clip, calling it a “traumatic end.”
