‘Out Of Court Settlement Through Consensus Is The Way Out’, Says Art Of Living Spokesperson Darshak Hathi On Supreme Court's Ayodhya Order

Amidst the different demands from stakeholders, the Supreme Court on Monday adjourned the matter and ordered it to be listed in the first week of January for fixing a date for the hearing. The three-judge bench headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi has decided to list the matter to be taken up in the first week of 2019, and it will then pronounce when the hearing on the case will begin.

While speaking to Republic World, Art of Living spokesperson, Darshak Hathi reacting to Supreme Court's order on the matter, said 'Due to reasons unknown, the judiciary is delaying the verdict, which is creating more tension in the society. Now some are demanding an ordinance on the issue, so the situation is getting more complex and tense by each passing day.'

Re-iterating Sri Sri Ravishankar's stand on the Ayodhya Dispute, Mr. Hathi said 'hence we have been stressing to call all the stakeholders together to find an amicable solution.'

Following the Supreme Court's order on Monday, members of the RSS, VHP and Shiv Sena have demanded an ordinance to be brought for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. As per sources, the RSS has also scheduled a meeting on October 30 in Mumbai, in the presence of chief Mohan Bhagwat, to discuss an array of issues. While the meeting is scheduled to go on till November 3, Ram Mandir issue has been added to agendas to be discussed in the meeting.

'For now, we are just sitting on a time bomb,' Mr. Darshak Hathi said in his closing comments.

Earlier in March, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had penned a two-page letter to the AIMPLB regarding the Ayodhya dispute pitching a full out-of-court settlement proposal to amicably resolve the matter with all stakeholders.
