Major Gaurav Arya in a video for 'The Major Speaks' talks about why India needs to break the Pakistan Army's back.
He mentions the series of instances where Pakistan's atrocious attempts to create havoc using terrorism and war on the country.
"I don't think that war is as easy as people think as thousands of innocent people die. But it is necessary to break the back of Pakistan Army and teach them such a lesson that they don't strike again. When we speak about terrorism we know that it did not begin with Pulwama. If we count all wars since the Indpendence, 1500-1700 men and civilians have been martyred in wars with Pakistan or in terror srikes.
The problem of terrorism from Pakistan never began with Pulwama, nor will it end there.
It started in 1947 November when Pakistan attacked us around 8 weeks after both the countries. There was a war between the two countries in that year and the line of control was created.
Forty men were martyred in the Pulwama. Pulwama is a watershed moment after which India decided that we need to be stern with Pakistan The time for talks is over. I will still say those martyred must be remembered."
