New Delhi: In the wake of the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that he considers this a special day for himself.
While giving an interview to a Hindi daily, reciting a couplet from Goswami Tulsidas’ Ramcharitmanas, the PM said, “Successful is all auspicious endeavours, Today, the vision of Ram is your bestower."
The PM went on to elaborate that life becomes successful by the sight of Lord Ram.He added, “ It is my good fortune that I have received an invitation to participate in this extremely sacred event, an opportunity to go there. For centuries, Lord Rama has filled our lives with positivity. Imagine for a moment that I am not a chief servant but an ordinary citizen sitting in a village. Even then, the joy and satisfaction in my heart would be as much as if I have received the opportunity to go there in the role of a chief servant.”
PM Modi added, “This is an opportunity for happiness and satisfaction for 140 crore Indians. For me, this occasion symbolises “Ayodhya to every house, Ram to every house.”
