Debate With Arnab: The Supreme Court has disposed a plea demanding FIR in Justice Varma case. The scandal that's shook the nation saw heaps of cash being discovered at Justice Yashwant Varma's residence. Video proof exists and yet, there was no strong action on the Judge in question for days. Given the threat of public losing faith in judiciary, will an in-house inquiry be enough? What happens if public loses faith in the country's judicial system? Would it be possible to restore that? The current system sees common people waiting decades to get justice. So isn't it imperative that a scandal that's one of the biggest in India's history, only sees an FIR be filed? Several questions remain unanswered with regard to the Judge cash scandal, and a thorough investigation is the need of the hour.
