Lin Dan hopes to compete in 2021 Chinese National Games following retirement

Lin Dan met the media in Shanghai, China on Thursday (9th July), following his retirement announcement on the social media platform Weibo on Saturday (4th July).

Lin Dan played down the possibility of becoming a coach in future, but admitted he is aiming to represent Beijing to compete in the Chinese National Games in Xi'an, 2021.

Chinese badminton legend Lin Dan ended his international career with Olympic gold medals at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Summer Games, five world championships and four Asian titles.
