Austin Peay beats Tennessee St. 99-74

Jordyn Adams and Terry Taylor scored 37 points apiece as Austin Peay extended its win streak to seven games, romping past Tennessee State 99-74 on Thursday night. The 37 points were a season high for Adams, who made 10 of 11 free throws. Taylor also had 14 rebounds.

Carlos Paez had seven assists and six rebounds for Austin Peay (13-7, 7-0 Ohio Valley Conference). Eli Abaev added 11 rebounds.

Mark Freeman had 19 points and six assists for the Tigers (12-8, 4-3). Jy'lan Washington added 17 points and nine rebounds. Emmanuel Egbuta had 13 points and eight rebounds.

Michael Littlejohn, the Tigers' second leading scorer entering the matchup at 12 points per game, shot only 17% in the game (1 of 6).

Austin Peay plays Belmont at home on Saturday. Tennessee State faces Murray State on the road on Saturday.
