"Basketball is not the most important thing" - NBA star speaks out on Gaza conflict

Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving said on Saturday that global unrest and strife including the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict is making it difficult for him to focus on basketball.

Speaking after the Nets defeated the Chicao Bulls in Brooklyn, Irving spent most of his post-game media session talking about the off-court issues that have been consuming him lately.

Irving said the world was too divided and that people need to start treating each other better.
