NBA Power Rankings Week 4: Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks stay on top

Injuries and suspensions have begun to hit teams hard this season. So far, the likes of Stephen Curry, Kyle Lowry and Gordon Hayward have been ruled out for long periods of time due to injury. Apart from that, the likes of Wilson Chandler and especially DeAndre Ayton and John Collins are out with massive 25-game suspensions. Dion Waiters of Miami Heat too was slapped with a 10-game suspension recently.

With so many things happening around the league, we look at the Power Rankings of the teams from the Eastern Conference during Week 4.

NBA Power Rankings Week 4

No.1 - Boston Celtics

Following an opening night defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Boston Celtics have bounced back winning seven straight games. In their last game against Spurs, Gordon Hayward broke his left hand and is likely to miss at least a month of action as he could be forced to undergo surgery. Kemba Walker has been performing brilliantly since the departure of Kyrie Irving to the Nets. Boston will next play Washington on Wednesday evening.

No.2 - Milwaukee Bucks

Reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has led the team from the front, recording at least 30 points and 13 rebounds in five straight games. The Bucks have now won four of their last five games, only losing on the road to the Utah Jazz. Looking at their current form, the team once again look like contenders for the playoffs.

No.3 - Toronto Raptors

Despite the departures of Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green, the defending champions have made a good start to the season with a record of 7-2. Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam have stepped up for the Raptors, but injuries to Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka might have just put a halt to their charge towards retaining the title which they won last year.
