Sotos propels Bucknell to 71-70 victory over Colgate

Despite the loss, the Raiders (22-8, 13-4) wrapped up the Patriot League regular-season title when Boston University lost to Lehigh 57-55.

Bucknell led 38-27 at halftime and 69-63 after Jack Ferguson's 3-pointer with 5:30 left to play. But Sotos took over from there. The junior hit two buckets and two free throws in a game-ending 8-1 run to pull out the victory.

Walter Ellis contributed 12 points and eight rebounds off the bench for the Bison (12-18, 8-9). Avi Toomer and Andrew Funk scored 11 and 10, respectively.

Jordan Burns had 24 points for Colgate. Ferguson finished with 15 points, while Will Rayman tallied 12 points and 13 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season. He also committed seven turnovers of the Raiders' 16 turnovers.

The Bison evened the season series against the Raiders with the win. Colgate defeated Bucknell 80-65 on Jan. 20.
