Ambati Rayudu has been in the headlines for one reason or the other these last couple of days ever since the Indian middle-order batsman was excluded from Team India's 15-member World Cup squad. On Tuesday the 33-year old effectively lashed out over the omission, taking to Twitter to post a sarcasm-laced message about his plans for the World Cup:
In the tweet, Rayudu had actually taken a jibe at chief selector M.S.K. Prasad citing Vijay Shankar's all-round (three dimensional) abilities - batting, bowling and fielding. His tweet received mixed responses from the Cricket fans.
However, left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha backed Rayudu for his exclusion from the side and he also tweeted about something which he had experienced in the past. This is what he had to say.
The veteran off-spinner said that Rayudu's exclusion was a curious case of some Hyderabadi cricketers and that he understood the wink as he had been in a similar situation.
However, one of the netizens decided to take a dig at Ojha citing enforced change in his bowling action.Ojha was barred from bowling in competitve Cricket in 2014 after his bowling action was found to be illegal. He then underwent a procedure to get his bowling action corrected post which BCCI cleared his action.
But Ojha soon gave him a reality check.
Meanwhile, his tweet did not find too many supporters as there were people who did not agree with Ojha.
