One of the pioneers of India's triumphs in the ICC World T20 2007 and ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement from International Cricket on Monday. It thereby marked an end to an almost two-decade remarkable career. 

After he had decided to move on from cricket, the cricketing fraternity came forward to wish him a happy retired life on social media. Among them was the 'God of Cricket' Sachin Tendulkar.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Yuvi and wished him luck for his 2nd innings. He wrote 'What a fantastic career you have had Yuvi. You have come out as a true champ every time the team needed you. The fight you put up through all the ups & downs on & off the field is just amazing. Best of luck for your 2nd innings & thanks for all that you have done for Cricket.' At the same time, the batting legend had also posted an image of him and Yuvi holding the World Cup trophy which India had won in 2011 after a long wait of 28 years.

After Sachin had wished him, Yuvraj also acknowledged the Little Master.

Even the netizens showed their respect for the just-retired all-rounder.
