It is no strange fact that in India, cricketers are treated like demi-gods. Wherever they go, the fans follow. Just a mere sight of their favorite batsman or bowler is enough for a supporter to go crazy.

A number of cricketers are adored and loved frantically during their cricketing days. But there are some who are equally adored even after they have called time on their career. And one of them is Anil Kumble.

'Jumbo' as he is widely called, was traveling in a Mumbai-Bangalore flight earlier this week. In the same flight, a huge fan of Kumble was also present. Upon getting a glimpse of the legend, the fan got excited and penned down her feelings on Twitter. Her message read,

"The legendary @anilkumble1074 in my BLR-MUM flight. Glanced at him once and was reminded of that game in West Indies where he bowled with a bandaged jaw. Teared up a bit. Gawwddd, I'm such a sucker for cricket memories."

It was then followed by another tweet from her, where she mentions the urge to speak with her favorite cricketer. "I want to go up to @anilkumble1074 and say a 'Thank You' for all the joy, all the victories, all the memories. But, I am getting cold feet," her second message read.

What followed afterwards was something which no fan would have ever dreamt of. Kumble, upon realizing that the fan is in the very same flight, replied to her Twitter message. He wrote, "Please feel free to come over and say hi after take off @Mittermaniac"

The legendary leg-spinner, after the flight took-off, gave an autograph to the fan on her boarding pass. The girl, living her fan moment, could not stop expressing her happiness on Twitter. "Will have to get a boarding pass framed now. Thank you, @anilkumble1074. Someday I want to learn humility from you," she penned down on the social media website.
