Widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen to have graced the game, Virat Kohli is also considered an inspiration for many. Over the years, the Indian cricket team skipper has grown in terms of his batting, maturity and leadership abilities.

The 29-year-old recently led India to its record-equaling 10th consecutive Test series win on home soil, which further adds to his record as one of the most successful captains of the Indian cricket team.

Virat Kohli's journey to the pinnacle of cricket has seen him break several records, but not many are aware of the obstacles he had to endure in his formative stages. The talismanic batsman has worked a lot on his fitness both mental and physical to be where is right now.

From a chubby cricketer to being fit as a fiddle, it is safe to say the Indian run-machine as come a long way. Having led the country's U-19 team to World Cup glory in 2008 to currently dominating the cricketing sphere in all formats of the game, Virat Kohli has left no stone unturned.

Recently, the Indian skipper had revealed that he turned vegan to improve his fitness, and it has done wonders with his batting doing the talking on the cricket field. While Virat Kohli continues to set the bar high for success by every passing day, his latest Instagram post will surely give you life goals, if not fitness goals.

The number-one ranked batsman shared a picture on his Instagram account, revealing the secret to having a successful career. The caption read: "With focus and hard work, anything is possible. Keep working, keep believing. Have a super day everyone."

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team produced an all-round performance against West Indies in the two-match Test series, which the hosts comprehensively clinched 2-0. After winning the first Test by 287 runs and an innings, the Virat Kohli-led took it up a notch by winning the second Test by 10 wickets.

The home series against the West Indies has proved to be quite fruitful for the Indian players with Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant surging upwards, while skipper Virat Kohli maintained his numero uno position in the latest ICC rankings.
