Former Indian cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar recently made his bow in front of the world. The 18-year-old was seen in India's ongoing U-19 tour of Sri Lanka, where he played two 4-day matches. Though, he wasn't selected in the squad for the ODI leg.
So away from cricket, it seems that Jr. Tendulkar is enjoying his time with England Women's cricketer Danielle Wyatt. She is currently playing for Southern Vipers in the ongoing Women's Cricket Super League. But it seems she found time from her busy schedule to meet Arjun.
The two clicked a few pictures together, enjoying time with each other at Nandos.
Wyatt's team is currently bottom of their group in the KIA Super League. She has personally struggled, with just 94 runs in six innings. The tournament has been lit up India's Smriti Mandhana, who has made numerous records this year.
In all the six matches in the tournament, the Indian Women's cricket star has scored in excess of 30, which also includes two half centuries and one century. Her astonishing form in the 2018 edition means she now has 338 runs already, which is the highest ever by any player in the KIA Super League. Mandhana has gone past her present teammates Stafanie Taylor and Rachel Priest, who were the leading run-getters with 289 and 261 runs in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
As for Arjun, he had a very mediocre time in the two 4-day matches in Sri Lanka. He started off his career in a positive fashion, though, faded away in no time. On his U-19 debut, Arjun did no harm to his fledging career. In the final ball of his second over, the 18-year-old got his first ever wicket after Kamil Mishara was caught plumb in front.
While he showed promise in his bowling debut, he failed to deliver with the bat. In his maiden innings with bat, Arjun was dismissed for a duck of 11 balls. Coincidentally, his father, Sachin, was also dismissed without scoring a single run in his ODI debut against Pakistan in 1989.
