As the big World Cup clash between India and Pakistan commences, THIS Bollywood actor is keeping Shikhar Dhawan entertained on the sidelines

The die-hard cricket fans from the sub-continent are gearing up for yet another mouth-watering blockbuster clash between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan as the two teams will lock horns against each other in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 clash at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday. While fans from around the world have gathered to watch the highly-anticipated match, joining the bandwagon is Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who was seen having some fun time.

The actor who is currently gearing up for sports drama '83' was seen entertaining cricketer Shikhar Dhawan on the sidelines of the match. In the recent pictures shared by the official handle of the Cricket World Cup, Ranveer and Shikhar can be seen enjoying a good laugh together. In another picture, he can be seen carrying his quirky elements even to the stadium.

The film '83' which is based on India's historical first Cricket World Cup Win against England at the Lord's stadium, will see Ranveer play the role of the then Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev. The sports drama, which will be helmed by Kabir Khan, will chronicle India's win under Kapil Dev's captainship when the Men in Blue defeated West Indies in the final to clinch their first-ever World Cup trophy in 1983.

Ranveer is gearing up for his upcoming sports drama as he is often seen practicing for the same. He is trained for the role by Kapil Dev himself as several pictures and videos of the 'Gully Boy' actor interacting with the legendary cricketer surfaced on the internet. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the movie is slated to release on April 10, 2020.

Meanwhile, this is the seventh World Cup meeting of both sides. The Men In Blue will look to maintain their supremacy over their neighbours with another victory and thereby, continue their unbeaten run in the quadrennial event while Pakistan will be hoping to register their maiden World Cup win over India.
