AUS vs ENG: Ben Stokes sprays water on Mark Wood

The incident happened when  Mark Wood was the one answering the commentators’ question during the drinks break of the AUS vs ENG 3rd Ashes Test. England vice-captain Ben Stokes tried to divert fast bowler Mark Wood’s attention from the interview by throwing water from the water sipper. Having started the mischief from a distance initially, Stokes started to slowly lessen the distance between himself and Wood until the pacer reacted funnily to the mischief leaving Ashes series commentators into a laugh.

Australia vs England: James Anderson leads England's fightback on Day 2

Australia batting lineup was able to extend a decent lead over England on Day 2 thanks to the contribution from the lower-order batsman.  Marcus Harris returned back to form scoring a fine half-century at the top. Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith failed to contribute with the bat. Harris and Smith were dismissed by James Anderson, while Labuschange was dismissed by Mark Wood.

Travis Head head the fort form on end but he looked at running away with partners as England bowlers picked wickets at regular intervals. Skipper Pat Cummins along with Harris and fellow pacer Mitchell STarc provided the fightback. While Head was dismissed for 276 runs, STarc and Cummins contributed with 24 runs and 21 runs respectively. James Anderson was exceptional with the ball finishing with figures of 4 wickets for just 33 runs in 23 overs.

England's second innings was in tatters yet again with four batsmen already back to the Pavillion at the time of writing the story. Zak Crawley was the first wicket to fall with Starc getting him caught behind the wicket. Dawid Malan was dismissed in the first ball following which Haseeb Hameed and Jack Leach were dismissed by debutant Scott Boland.
