Sunday just got better as a special treat is served up for cricket fans in the form of a blockbuster India-Pakistan clash. There will be no room for complacency for either side as the arch-rivals will look to focus on their preparation in their bid to secure passage into the 2018 Asia Cup final.

Pakistan will have hoped to have learned their lessons from their previous heavy group stage defeat, when the two arch-rivals meet yet again, in the Super Four of the 2018 Asia Cup. The stakes will be high, with the winner of the tie potentially having a better chance to make it to the final.

It is a known fact that the Men in Green (Pakistan) have a penchant for surprising not just their opponents but themselves too. Thus, defending champions India will need to bring their A-game tonight, in order to deter any threat posed by their fierce arch-rivals.

Coming into this fixture, Pakistan narrowly avoided humiliation against underdogs Afghanistan in its opening Super Four match in Dubai. While, it was a contrasting tale for the Men in Blue as they steam-rolled Bangladesh with a comprehensive seven-wicket win.

Even without the services of talismanic captain Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team have looked the strongest team so far. The Indian batting lineup starring Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan have looked formidable and lived up to the billing by scoring freely on surfaces that are not ideal for stroke-play.

Not forgetting, the Indian bowling unit, who have been outstanding in the tournament. Pace duo of Bhuvenshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah will look pick up from there left off, while left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja, who made a roaring comeback to India's ODI squad with stunning four-wicket haul will be hoping to carry his confidence into the match.

While for Pakistan, barring their opener against Hong Kong, Sarfraz Ahmed's men have not been at their best. Opening batsmen Fakhar Zaman after been dismissed for consecutive ducks, will look to amends and so will be the likes of Babar Azam, Sarfraz and Iman-ul-Haq.

Another cause for concern for Pakistan is Mohammad Aamir, who has been misfiring in terms of wickets in recent times. He was dropped against Afghanistan, but he may be recalled into the side after the team's unconvincing bowling display.

With just over a few hours to go for the blockbuster fixture, we take a look at how both the teams could probably lineup today!

India: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, MS Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, Dinesh Karthik, Kedhar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuveshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuz Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah.

Pakistan: Sarfraz Ahmed, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, S Khan, Mohammed Nawaz, Hasan Ali, Mohammed Amir, Shaheen Afridi
