Many would've expected Pakistan to show some fight round two of the rivalry between the arch-rivals at the 2018 Asia Cup. Though, the Men in Green showed some signs of it when Shoaib Malik's composed innings steered Pakistan to 237/7, but all of it went in vain after India came out to bat.

Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan ripped apart the Pakistani bowlers to make the chase look like child's play. The duo in tandem steered India to a comprehensive seven-wicket victory, thus handing Pakistan their second loss in the span of four days.

The only shining light for Pakistan at the 2018 Asia Cup has been Shoaib Malik, who has time and again showed his experience to save his side in the times of crisis. While the Pakistani batsman might be adored back home for his contributions on the field of play, though recently, he has been at the receiving end of some love from his fans who reside across the border.

The fervent fan following for Shoaib Malik has led to him been given a new nickname. The nickname was christened during the Super Fours match between India and Pakistan, when Shoaib Malik was fielding at the boundary line. The Indian fans present at the Dubai International Stadium took the opportunity to get the attention of the Pakistani player and in the process ended up calling him ' jiju ' (which means sister's husband).

Shoaib Mail was quick to respond as he waved back at the fans. While the nickname comes from the fact that he is married to Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza. Here's hoping that this video puts a smile on Sania's face after she decided to deactivate her social media account temporarily on the eve of the India-Pakistan group stage fixture.
