India and Pakistan are set to lock horns for the second time at the 2018 Asia Cup, and we can't keep calm! Among all the sporting rivalries in the world, nothing tops the India-Pakistan rivalry, which is not only limited to the cricket pitch but goes way beyond that too.

With bragging rights at stake, the fans of both nations are known to take a dig at each other while the temperatures are soaring on the cricket pitch. From the famous #MaukaMuka to the recent #KnockKnock, supporters of both countries follow their teams with immense passion.

However, hours before the much-anticipated clash a Pakistani fan has won the hearts of many with his wonderful gesture. During the previous encounter between the two sides, a Pakistani fan was seen singing the Indian national anthem, and the video has been doing the rounds ever since.

The reported fan has been identified as Adil Taj, who sang the Indian national anthem word for word. And now, he has revealed the reason behind his heart-warming gesture in an interview with ANI. "Some Indian fans were sitting with us in our enclosure. When our national anthem was played, I saw how they stood in respect & also clapped for it," said Adil.

Adil further said that it was 'small gesture' towards peace and will be carrying the flags of both countries for the Supers Fours match which will be played in Dubai on Sunday.

"I sang Pak anthem&tried my best when Indian anthem was played. Pak fans listened to it respectfully. It was small gesture towards peace...Plan on carrying both flags tomorrow," Adil concluded.

Meanwhile, India will be beaming with confidence after registering comprehensive victories against Bangladesh and Pakistan. However, despite having the favorites tag, there will be no room for complacency for India as they look to focus on their preparation to secure passage into the 2018 Asia Cup final.

Even without the services of talismanic captain Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team have looked the strongest team so far. The Indian batting lineup starring Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan have looked formidable and lived up to the billing by scoring freely on surfaces that are not ideal for stroke-play.
