Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar relived the memories of India's 2011 World Cup glory at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. This triumph has now completed eight years. India defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in the final.The 45-year old legend was nostalgic about the occasion and shared his thoughts about the same on Twitter.
Reflecting on April 2, 2011, Sachin said that he had no clue where to start from and what he needs to say. He also mentioned that out of all the days that he had spent on the Cricket field, none were bigger than that summit clash against Sri Lanka. At the same time he also added that the World Cup comes after every four years and also reflected that this unforgettable triumph has completed eight years and now yet another World Cup is around the corner.
Sachin also had words of motivation for the current Indian team. He said that the team has not yet been announced as of now. But, whoever makes it there, it is going to be our team. The maestro then expressed his wish of turning those three stars on the BCCI logo to four with yet another triumph in England and Wales. He then signed off by wishing Indian team good luck.
