Former Australian Cricketer Dean Jones made his choice of players in his all-time T20 XI.
Surprisingly, Jones also included players who have not played in the format. In fact, many of those in the list have not been a part of the format previously, with only MS Dhoni having any actual experience to speak of, while two Australians - Matthew Hayden and Shane Warne - also know the format rather well. Even so, Jones believes that these players have the potential to adapt and adjust to any ensuing situation.
As per Jones, Matthew Hayden and West Indies player Gordon Greenidge will open with batting. On the other hand, Viv Richards will come in third. Brian Lara and Martin Crowe will form the middle order. Former Team India Captain, MS Dhoni has been chosen as the wicket-keeper and batsman. Dhoni is the only Indian to have made it to Jones' list. Former England all-rounder Ian Botham has been chosen as the all-rounder here as well, while Shane Warne has been picked up as a specialist spinner.
Fast bowlers list includes Wasim Akram, Curtly Ambrose and Joel Garner.
