Delhi and Gujarat co-incidentally last met in the quarter-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018-19, which was won by the latter. Delhi's best performers with the bat were captain Dhruv Shorey with his 91 and Nitish Rana with his 33. Their best bowlers were Pawan Negi and Simarjeet Singh. Gujarat's best batsmen were captain Parthiv Patel (76) and Priyank Panchal (80). Their most effective bowlers were Chintan Gaja and Arzan Nagwaswalla, both of whom got three wickets each. The final of this year's tournament will be played on December 1.
