Annual List A tournament Deodhar Trophy is currently underway in Ranchi. The tournament features some of Indian cricket's most promising names and the final will be played on November 4. Here are all the fixtures of the tournament.

What happened in season opener?

In the first match, Hanuma Vihari won the toss and chose to put India B into bat. Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad and all-rounder Baba Aparajith scored centuries to get India B to a formidable 302 runs for the loss of six wickets. Jaydev Unadkat and Ravichandran Ashwin stood out for India A as they both got two wickets each. India B defended their total well as no India A batsman was able to solidify their end of the wicket. Captain Hanuma Vihari was the highest scorer for India A with his 59 as most other batsmen in the line-up perished in their tens and twenties. India A perished at 194 in 47.2 overs. India B's Roosh Kalaria picked up three wickets for his team.
