Will SA make a comeback?

The first match was mostly dominated by India after Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat on Day 1. Mayank Agarwal's 215 and Rohit Sharma's 176 led the innings for India. South Africa, in return, could not get a good start but Dean Elgar and Faf du Plessis solidified the SA innings reducing the trail to less than 100 runs. The second Indian innings had Rohit making his second century in the match and the Proteas could not manage much as the Indian bowling attack ripped through their batting lineup. Mohammed Shami and Ravichandran Ashwin led the Indian attack.
