The first quarter-final match of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019 will be played between Karnataka and Puducherry at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, October 20, 2019. The match starts at 09:00 AM local time.

Preview

After 25 days of quality one-day action, the Vijay Hazare Trophy has finally reached the knock-out stages of the tournament. Karnataka, who topped the Elite Group A and B table, has won seven out of their eight matches. They aggregated 28 points throughout the preliminary stage, losing just one game in the process. Puducherry, on the other hand, topped the Plate Group by winning six out of their eight games. Two of their fixtures were no-result as they remained one of only two teams in the plate group who remained unbeaten so far.

Karnataka vs Puducherry will run simultaneously with Delhi taking on Gujarat in quarter-final 2. The remaining quarter-finals are scheduled for Monday, October 21 which will be followed by semi-final matches two days later. The final is slated to take place on Friday, October 25 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
