Dwayne Bravo leaves no stone unturned in entertaining his fans be it on the field or off it. He is currently representing Winnipeg Hawks in the ongoing edition of Global T20 Canada. There was an interesting thing which happened when the Hawks locked horns against Toronto Nationals on Monday which involved Dwayne Bravo. In case if you are wondering what was so entertaining about Bravo's presence then here's what you should know.

During the match, Bravo's jersey sported his usual number 47. But, instead of his name, it was written 'Çhampion'. Surprised? Well, no need to be because if you know DJ Bravo very well then it should not be surprising to you that the former West Indian all-rounder is famous for experimenting in new and unique things. After all, who can forget about his 'Drink of Champions' and him becoming a stylist for his Chennai Super Kings team-mate Monu Kumar Singh during the IPL earlier this year? Even though Bravo's new experiment might have won so many hearts, but it has also ended up annoying a person. Yes, that's correct as there is someone who is against Bravo not sporting his name behind his jersey.

Any guesses? Let us know about this person. He is none other than former New Zealand pacer Simon Doull who is currently one of the commentators of the tournament. He was very displeased with the Caribbean sensation using his nickname on the back of his jersey. Here's what Doull went on to say on air.

“I know this is going to sound a bit pedantic but I don’t like that at all. I do not like. Put your real name.”

“It’s a new tournament. You’re trying to encourage people to know who these players are. Recognize the superstars of the game. Yes, he might think it’s cool, but put your real name on your shirt so that the young kids, the older fans, the men, the women that come along to watch this game know exactly who that is. That is Dwayne Bravo. It’s not ‘Champion’! Champion of what?", Doull added.

'Çhampion' is a famous chartbuster which was produced and sung by Dwayne Bravo during the ICC World T20 in 2016. It became more popular and successful after West Indies won their record second title under the leadership of Darren Sammy.
