The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be poised to have former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly as its president. This will happen when the much delayed annual general meeting is held in Mumbai on October 23, 2019. Sourav Ganguly has been a part of a number of administrations in the country and he seems to be the right choice as he would look to shape cricket in India in a better way. Sourav Ganguly is one of the most prolific cricketers who has proved himself beyond the pitch. Meanwhile, former Gujarat Cricket Association joint secretary, Jay Shah and Anurag Thakur's brother Arun Singh Dhumal are expected to take over the role of secretary and treasurer, respectively.
