Former Sri Lankan spinning great and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bowling coach, Muttiah Muralitharan became the headline grabber on social media after a photo of him eating a giant 'dosa' went viral.
SRH batsman Shreevats Goswami posted a photo on Twitter on Monday, which showed Murali eating dosa in breakfast with his team. Goswami came up with a hilarious caption for the photo.
"Breakfast view cannot get better this morning murali sir killing the dosa and how," his Twitter post read.
Minutes after he posted the photo, it went viral, and social media users had a laugh about the highest-wicket taker in Tests and ODIs of all time.
Goswami wasn't a part of SRH's playing XI which lost its first Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 fixture to Kolkata Knight Riders.
Without their skipper Kane Williamson, but with the services of former skipper David Warner, SRH posted an impressive 181 for 3 batting first, much thanks to a blazing 53-ball 85 by the Australian.
Despite taking early wickets and being in command for much of the match, SRH ended up on the losing side as Andre Russell went crazy with the bat in the final overs and helped his side to a win. The West Indian scored a 19-ball 49 in making sure the two-time champions made a winning start. Earlier, Nitish Rana made a fifty to push his side towards the target.
