On the very same day when Bonnie Paine asked Rishabh Pant to babysit her kids, 'Hitman' of Indian cricket, Rohit Sharma has also requested his Indian counterpart to do the same for his daughter Samaira.
Taking to Twitter, Rohit, who is in India's squad for the upcoming ODI series against Australia, used Bonnie Paine's line that Pant is the 'best babysitter' to put forward his request for his national teammate.
"Morning buddy. Heard your a good baby sitter, need one right now. Ritika will be quite happy," his Twitter post read.
Earlier on Wednesday, Mrs Paine took to Instagram to ask if the Indian wicketkeeper would be free enough to babysit her young ones till the time she does her unpacking.
Mrs Paine had shared a photo on Instagram earlier this month, wherein Pant could be seen holding one of the kids. During the meeting of Indian and Australian players with the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Bonne Paine clicked a photo with Pant at the location, and captioned it 'Best Babysitter'.
The whole 'babysitting' saga began during the third Test between Australia and India in Melbourne. During India's second innings, when Rishabh Pant came out to bat, Australian skipper Tim Paine decided to have a bit of fun with the youngster. In reference to the inclusion of MS Dhoni in India's ODI squad, which saw Pant being dropped, Paine took the opportunity to have a go at the batsman.
"Tell you what big MS is back in the one day squad. Should get this bloke down to Hurricanes. They need a batter. Fancy that extend your Aussie holiday, beautiful town Hobart too... get him a water front apartment," he said before adding, "Have him over for dinner. Do you babysit? I can take my wife to the movies while you watch the kids."
