The chant ‘Sachin! Sachin!’ is still heard every time Sachin Tendulkar graces any stadium in the country and that says it all about the love for the legendary batsmen. That same love was all over social media as the ‘Master Blaster’ celebrated his 46th birthday on Wednesday. While fans ensured that their messages kept his name on the top of the trends all through the day, celebrities galore also tweeted with heartwarming pictures and words for the ‘Master Blaster.’

One of the highlights among them was Virender Sehwag’s analysis of 46, his new age, and writing how 4 and 6 were two numbers he associated on the scoreboard when Sachin would bat.

The celebrities praised the ‘Master Blaster’ with words like ‘god of cricket’, ‘childhood superhero’, ‘little boy who stole a billion hearts’, ‘greatest to ever grace the game’, ‘genius’, ‘person defines Cricket to 3 generations’, 'better human being than a batsman', ‘legend’ and added that ‘few people who can leave a mark on so many people.’  They lauded him for ‘infusing confidence' and his ‘humility, wisdom and class’ to convey blessings and love for a 'healthy and rocking year ahead!' 

Current members of the team, Virat Kohli, Kuldeep Yadav, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Ajinkya Rahane, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Cheteshwar Pujara, were among those who tweeted. Some of the ex-cricketers and former members of the team like Yuvraj Singh, VVS Laxman, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, Mohammad Kaif, Aakash Chopra, Robin Uthappa also took to Twitter on the occasion. 

Mithali Raj and other sportspersons like Saina Nehwal, Sushil Kumar, Vijender Singh, Kidambi Srikanth, Deepa Malik also conveyed their wishes to Sachin.

Earlier, numerous stars from the film industry had also tweeted. Not just that, even Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal Chief Ministers Chandrababu Naidu and Mamata Banerjee also wished the Master Blaster.
