Harbhajan Singh has trolled old teammate Virender Sehwag for getting a lot of people thinking of something they would perhaps not want to reminisce about that much. World Cup 2007 is not something that either the Indian cricket fans or the members of that squad would wish to remember as it was a forgettable tournament for the Men In Blue who were led by the charismatic Rahul Dravid and coached by Greg Chappel. The reason behind this is that Team India's campaign came to an abrupt end in the group stages itself for the first time since the 1992 edition. Nonetheless, Virender Sehwag does not mind in reliving the moment which can arguably be the lowest point of his professional career. Virender Sehwag took to Instagram and posted this heartbreaking picture of himself, Rahul Dravid and Dinesh Karthik who were sitting in the dressing room with crestfallen faces. However, he added a bit of spice to it.

Harbhajan Singh's hilarious answer sums up the day for Virender Sehwag

After Virender Sehwag had asked a hilarious question to all the fans out there, he received responses which were both funny as well as serious. However, Harbhajan Singh also came forward to answer this question. Both Harbhajan Singh and Virender Sehwag have been good friends since the early days of their careers and have been instrumental in so many of India's epic triumphs. But, in this uneventful tournament, even Harbhajan Singh was a part of the Indian squad along with Sehwag. Therefore, when Viru had posted this image and asked a funny question, Harbhajan Singh had no hesitation in answering this in a hilarious way. Harbhajan Singh wrote that he had reacted in this manner when the former vice-captain had posted this picture. Harbhajan Singh then asked Sehwag why he had posted the picture.

Here is Bhajji's epic response:

The dream that was shattered in 2007

India led by Rahul Dravid were touted as one of the favourites to win the 2007 World Cup. However, their campaign went haywire after they were stunned by the then minnows in the opening encounter. India then defeated Bermuda comprehensively. But, in order to advance to the next stage, they had to win their final group game against Sri Lanka. Bowling first, India restricted Sri Lanka to 254/6. In reply, Sachin Tendulkar was dismissed early as Virender Sehwag (48) and Rahul Dravid (60) kept India in the hunt. But, there were no major contributions from others as India were bundled out for 148 and their World Cup hopes went up in fumes.

Everything was sorted as India went on to beat arch-rivals Pakistan in the inaugural edition of the ICC World T20 a few months later and Sehwag was a part of the squad. India got their revenge against the island nation in the 2011 edition of the World Cup where they won their second world title as Sachin Tendulkar fulfilled his childhood dream of winning a World Cup medal and being a world champion. Viru and Bhajji were also the members of that triumphant squad.
